The RNS First Grade college library was established in the year 2012 in Bangalore. The library has adopted an open access system for users to have easy access to the library resources and automated with Koha software and users have been provided with bar code ID’s and the circulation of issue/return of books. The status of availability of books and project reports, can be searched through the OPAC. Our library is a knowledge center and it has all facilities required information in the form of book, Journals, Magazines, Newspapers and internet access for e-journals and e-books etc., Apart from these, the library houses a growing collection of reference books, journals and back Volumes of journals, Previous year question papers, and competitive exam books, also provide inter library loan for the benefit of students and teachers of the college, as well as information research, general reference and current awareness, computerized cataloguing. Our library has book bank facility for the students and it is extended to SC/ST.

The Library Advisory Council appointed by the College offers direction and suggestions to the library. Management of issues pertaining to the Library and its offerings. The committee's main responsibility is to provide suggestions and counsel on matters like general policy, funding, planning, programs, goals, and objectives in order to support the needs of college for teaching, learning, and community development. The committee acts as a point of contact between the college academic community and the library, representing their interests and concerns.

Visitors can freely browse the shelves, select books of their choice, and either refer to them within the library or borrow them as per the borrowing guidelines.
