The Examination office has been established to oversee the examination and evaluation processes, led by the Controller of Examinations (COE). Conducting examinations within the autonomous system is a key academic activity that assesses students' performance. In this regard, the Examination office plays a crucial role in the evaluation process. The COE & DCOE, along with office staff, closely monitor students' performance at every stage, including Continuous Internal Evaluation (CIE) and Semester End Examinations (SEE) providing necessary guidance to various departments throughout the academic year.

Important activities of the COE office include:

• Overseeing the conduct of CIE and Semester-End examinations.
• Managing the examination process, which includes scheduling examination dates, coordinating with examiners for question paper setting, printing, conducting exams, evaluation, disclosing answer scripts, and announcing results.
• Communicating relevant examination notifications to departments and ensuring timely conduct of exams.
• Collecting CIE marks from departments as required.
• Issuing grade cards, transcripts, and Provisional Degree Certificates (PDC).
• Maintaining the confidentiality of the examination system.
• Convening Malpractice Committee meetings and issuing notifications related to malpractice.
• Strictly adhering to university guidelines for autonomous examinations.
• Announcing examination fees and related charges.
• Facilitating the Paper Seeing and Revaluation processes.
• Publishing rank lists and medallists prior to the Annual Convocation ceremony.
